It is rumored that Deutz (SDF, SAME DEUTZ-FAHR Group) www.samedeutz-fahr.com/ is developing a big 4WD-tractor with around 600hp. ;D Probably together with a producer form east-european or russian producer. Who knows more suppositions or even concrete details??

Deutz do supply engines to Kirovets tractor company.
maybe it is something to do with them.
Can not see them doing it all on their own

Yes, I don't see it as a large market for S-D-F for them to develop on their own.

I've read that only the Challenger will get the new Cat/Challenger 4wd, but that the other Agco/Massey dealers in NA have been promised a new innovative big horsepower tractor that is supposed to come out in the future. Could it be that a SDF/Agco/Kirovets tractor is in the makes? Doesn't Fendt have a connection with one of the Russian tractor makers? I would find it difficult though to imagine that Agco would expect to sell a tractor like that unless it was basically a N. American design.

I was out for a sniff round in the car on saturday and came acroos a Deutz while driving. I'll overtake it when I get out of this 30 zone thought I. No you bloody wont, the driver of the Deutz must have thought as he opened the taps some more. He was doing a steady 35 when he turned off, in his fancy suspended cabbed tractor... not that this has anything to do with 600 horses you understand

I think Red Painter is right. There's something above 300 hp coming for MF/AGCO brands. I heard that too. Maybe a "modified" Fendt 936?...

The pdf says that the cooler company is making a cooler for the worlds largest wheeled tractor of 600 hp ( i thought that was the ACO 600 with 800+ hp ) for Same-Deutz-Fahr... anyways since SDF has a majority stake in Deutz motoren AG it could still mean that Deutz supplies the engine complete with radiator, to Kirovets... Anyways we'll see what happens. You cant make reliable assumptions from an article written about coolers (the tractors arent the main issue in this article so they usually dont care about the off-topic facts)

Greenguy. You might be right in that the 936 could be a smoke screen. I wonder is this tractor will eventually form the basis of the new 300 to 400hp range of common platform tractors from Fendt, MF and Valtra.
Agco has made no secret of the fact that it is working on a new range of tractors, and that the work is being carried out at Marktoberdorf.

Elav >> That's what I think. I might be wrong though. That would make sense to have one plateform for all the AGCO brands and that would cut a big chunk of the current design and manufacturing costs.

The engine that Deutz has in the 600hp range is the TCD 2015 V8...It's a V8, 15.9L, 4 valves, twin turbochargers, topping 2800 Nm and 500kW for a fuel consumption of 204g/kWh (very good), compact (1200x1000x1200mm) and light (1200kg)...a sweet beast!!!
