hey there thanks guys
ZJ yahoo will not let you link photos like i do
photos i use are put on my own website, and linked too
i think yahoo won't let you use this unless you pay for the service, it is coding wrote into the structure of the photo album that limits this
but over at puddingsworld, you can link pics from there into this forums
i think you can do it with farmphoto pictures
ZJ you need to post pictures on another, better site, to do what i do
by the way, very very nice pictures of your tractors on the album, you have some nice machines
the first pic of the 4960 and JD750 was drilling into set aside ground, into wet areas of the field, and with that drill you have optional caster wheels on the front, that is what we have for when we couple them together with a houck hitch
the problem with the caster wheels is there is no weight transfer to the tractor, so, it can get exciting believe me, especially when the person cultivating the field drives round the wholes with his wing, cultivating the mud hole, cause when it drys, you can't see the difference in soil condition!......many a time i had to fish for the diff lock and just plain grab gears, lol 200+hp and 2wd will throw mud a looong way!
the second pic is plain bad luck, i dunno who did that, but its funny, i haven't figured out why they put our small dirt pan on this machine, i guess on dry ground she can pull it well
kevanous!......our beans are in, only the double crop left
i heard someone say only 30% of beans were in, in KY, but, lol, we have about 80% in now, on the northern farms, and down south, all there beans are double crop, so they must have over 3000 acres yet to plant
all the tobacco is in down here, lot of farmers haven't got on to there fields, and seem to get very nervous when we move into the area.......they start to feel guilty, when they can't get 50acres out, and we come in and plant 500 in the same time!.......we finished planting last sunday, 3 planters, 2 field cultivators, terragator, ditch, semi's, discs (were 2 discs running there last week)............on this place, stuff was flying!
its a great feeling to have it in the ground, especially good feeling to see the stuff i planted is already coming up,.......now i get to scout it
new hollander...........lol..........we sell tires too!......we are firestone agents
the tires on these tractors are ususally factory fitted, and they are usually 23 degree tires narrow for row crop work.........those are 18.4/46 on the 4960
wide tires?.......we have a quad trac, CIH 9170 on bigfoot tires, and a JD9400 on big 700/38 metric radials
