Hello,
We own a Ford 2000 for our place. In future we want to buy a bigger one, cause the Ford is smoking and the engine needs a lot of oil. We own 9 acres and are breeding goats, also do we own some horses. We want to spread manure and do some baling. Even we wanted to do some loader work, cause we own only a backend loader for the 3 pt. Now there is a new Dealer established 2 miles away from us. He sells Zetor and Belarus Tractors. Both are looking very strong built. But the zetor would be our favorite. Has anyone of You experience with Zetors? Are they any good? Where can I find some info about them?

I've driven loads of different makes and models of tractors and zetors are just fine, dads used them for years on his dairy farm. As with any breed of tractor agood dealer is very important.
Renze will fill you in on any info you need.

I bought one in Jan -- Wouldn't trade for anything!! Neighbor traded Case for Zetor & saved 1000 gal fuel first year.

Hey ZJ,
I do believe the phrase you are looking for is......."Dead in the Shed".......or it could also be "Dead in the Hedge"

sebastian, don't listen to these guys. Zetors are very good value for money. We own three and we have had no major problems on them, which is something of a miracle given some of the cowboys that drive them. Seriously though, you won't find anything as simple to drive and they have quite plucky little motors too. Nothing can beat a Zetor in terms of value for money. Only thing to watch out for is the old fashoined dry-plate brakes which can be a pain. Otherwise they are sound and sturdy tractors. The only real reason for the bad name of Zetors in the UK is because they were associated with the importers, Skoda, which don't exactly supply the best product around. Forget Belarus, heard horror stories about them, parts can be difficult to source and they will be worth nothing at the end. Not as good to drive either.
Good look either way

Now phil, don't go getting all gushy on us.........Did not relly see anyone running down the Zetor brand. True they are good dependable econo tractors. If econo is what you want Zetor is hard to beat,no matter what Doc says!!!!
