Have You checked, if he is in CDN? Told a time ago, he has relatives there.
Maybe on NY "Broadway" to introduce the new Musical named "Zetormania"? ;D

I'm still here, too. I don't believe I'll be able to attend the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville this year. :-( I planned to go on Thursday, but I had some unexpected things come up.

Doc is here, over... been busy lately... boss went bankrupt and got taken over, we're in a reorganisation... i rebuilt a tranny of a 3011, etcetera... lotsa pressure at work, lotsa work at home... Now i need to find a source for piston O rings for my Veto loader, it leaks loads of oil. The parts manual of Veto only states part numbers, no O ring type numbers or dimensions. there are so many types of cylinder seals that i'd have to be lucky to pick the right one. does anyone have advice ?? Pudding, didnt you work at a Parker hydraulics franchise ?

hey doc, you need to find ya local o-ring/seal retailers take all the O-rings and seals ouf of the cylinder, take all of them too them, you will most likely find they have them on the shelf......... getting the cylinders apart can be a trick, but you should be able to figure it out, with out cutting or breaking anything......if in doubt ask measure the shaft diameter, and bore diameter also, also check the shaft for scouring, marking, these are sometimes reason the seals are leaking i do own a parker franchise, but because the o-ring division of parker is not represented here in NZ i use www.sealimports.co.nz/

Pudding i dropped the piston and cylinder cap at the hydraulics supplier we deal with at work. He said he has about 1000 seals in stock, but there are over 100.000 types of seals available.... Normally i dont replace seals but just scavenge an old but still tight cylinder somewhere.
Getting the cylinder apart wasnt a trick at all, because it did that all by itself, which was the actual cause of leaking: The O- ring between bore and cap blew away, and when i opened it i found that the piston seal looked like it was eaten by rats...
I tapped the rest of the piston cap open by notching it with an angle grinder, and then tapping it open with a hammer and chisel placed in the notch. In our town, no hardware store had a pipe wrench with a big enough mouth to hold that cylinder...
Anyways, i'll leave it to the experts, and wait a day for them to order it.

Just wondering if you still selling deutz tractors, if so, hows the sells going. Are they getting more popular in your area. beside jd, whats brand is selling good, Nothing really selling around here these days, not even Deere. The Kiotis were going good, but even the CUT market has tanked. I hope spring comes soon, not even much happening on the repair side either.
