hello, i am currently trying to buy a used 20 series. i drove a 6820 autopowr over the weekend. i would not have much experience with tractors over the 100hp bracket and thought this was a fine machine. i am concerned about the autopowr- this tractor is year 2004 registered.
i have read all discussuion on this site and the feed back relating to autopowr appears negative. are these machines troublesome ? is their value less than a manual box ?

a very good friend of mine started buying green tractors in 1991, he loved them and they served hime well.
He bought a nearly new 6410 Autopowr a few years ago, it got swapped for a Fendt (400 series) last summer. Why? Too unreliable, even with 120pto horse, no power. His 6820 AutoQuad got swapped for a 6920s (powerquad) the year before due to an unfixable electrical proplem, the 6920s was misbehaving badly the last I heard too.
He said the fendt has a better cab, and the softwear for the transmission is much better and it works, which helps.

We have a 6820 Autopowr on our Farm. It is a 2002 Model with just over 5000 hours and it worked very well. We had just some really small repairs.
