Does any one have any experience with a John Deere model 100 big square baler? Do not know anything about them. What brand of 3x3 baler is the best. Looking to buy a used one for this years hay harvest. Thank you Doug

I believe these were the ones built by Krone to JD's standards. They were not brilliant machines, many problems with jamming in silage hay. There was one custom/contractor operator near me that had one for quite awhile, but finally got fed-up with operating with what is essentially an "orphaned" product from JD.
One farmer in my area has bought a used one for his own use this summer, we will see how that goes. If your in Canada and looking for a good used big baler, good luck most of what is second hand on the market is either not worth buying new or second hand junk.
I'm still convinced that Krone has the best big balers (new), with a close second being Claas, then maybe NH or Welger(?). I wonder if the Hesston machines have improved in quality, and what the Gallignani baler is like.
