Are these tractors proving to be dependable down the road so far,or not? Any known problem areas?

hey woody, by MK3 they got most of the bumps ironed out of them
the 90 had the small rear end and tranny, the 115up got the bigger one
they already got the fan mods, shuttle shift lever mod, etc, we saw one not long ago that got a new control valve for the front suspension (at 6500hours), exhaust manifolds cracking (not just a deutz problem........sisu do it too)
the couple 90's left round here go alright, there is even a 100 and 105 or 106, few 115's, 135's and the odd 165
i usually get the hyd hoses to repair on them, done a few, must say they are not the easiest machine to work on,
to be fair woody, you sell them to the right farmer, one who isn't going to nana it along, and one that will look after it, service it, fix anything that breaks, and does not do dumb things too it........ya won't be concerned about them, they run well here, lot of the issues come from mechanics not knowing the machine, and decifering the parts programmes, good dealerships know the machines
areas you may find issue is the exhaust manifold cracking for no apparently reason........replace the studs when you do it.......this generally happens in the life of the tractor.......and the other problem is the shuttle lever wearing out, and some times the big fuse they have blows..........
other stuff we have seen go wrong is opperator error, rough people etc........
people that have them love them for loader work, and after 14years, that cab still is 'modern', if we could get them here, they probably would sell, but at the moment here, deutz dealers are also SAME dealers or Valtra dealers, or Claas dealers, often these dealers choose to sell other brands..........i guess with the shortage of tractors.........this will change here fast
