Finally some pictures from inside the factory, of the Zetor Maxterra: www.nasetraktory.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=4843&start=15The cab looks a bit like the Deutz Agrotron or Crystal agropoland cabs, but it is a clean sheet Zetor design. The rear axle does resemble a ZF 7200 series transmission. Nobody i know, can give further details yet.

Renze,
the link seems to have been removed. Maybe you could post the pics on imageshack with a link on here? Will it be introduced at the Agritechnica?

This is only the prototype. The final version should be released in November, i dont know when serial production starts. Indeed, the photos are removed from the forum on behalf of Zetor officials. I dont know how they can do that, as the photos are clearly taken with a cellphone, which means not the property of Zetor. It is forbidden to take pictures in many areas in the factory, but how can they do anything to stop them once the pictures are outside their premises ? It looks a dozen times better than the computer mockup that leaked some years ago... Or the photoshopped Fendt that kicked up some dust... For once, Zetorworld was NOT the first to bring out the news, but at least i didnt get the fuss with copyright lawyers either... Though this Maxterra isnt worth being the subject of industrial espionage, as it only uses well proven technology, this is the first time Zetor makes trouble about leaking photos: I found the first Forterra pictures on a Czech website years ago, copied them and nobody complained.. I suppose they have high expectations of this new series... Why not ? They have the sales channels to support them, which puts them several leaps ahead over any other economy brand that tried to sell tractors with the basic execution of a ZF 7200 transmission in the past 5 years Actually i think thats their issue about keeping this secret: They dont want to be named in the same breath with a poorly managed company like Crystal Agropoland, but rather with Deutz Fahr and Steyr who also use this transaxle.

I cannot find the pictures in Firefox temporary internet files, so i have to take them out the temporary internet files of MS IE at work monday... The whole thing about running this site anonymous, is off course with these kind of photos in mind..

Latest rumors:
Maxterra intrtoduction will be postponed due to the worldwide economic crisis: Wont an economic crisis be yet another reason to buy an economic tractor ??

Yes, lots of Super 50 action (built 1954-1968) simply incredible that these old beasts in the 40 to 55 year age range, still take that daily beating

Rubbish!
There are also a lot of tractors of other brands, which stay that dayly beat.
Where are all this old Zetor or Ursus running?? In former CSSR and in Poland. Countries, where you didn´t have possibility to buy a new tractor at a dealers places 25 years ago.
Commy countries, which didn´t like the independent farmers or other independent businesses, but the nomenklatura was sure, that they can´t live with out them.
And: Who needs the Maxterra??

Dont judge others by your own standards, because not all Ossies hated national products

Engine: Zetor 6.2 liter 6 cylinder, 4 valves per cylinder, meets TIER 3B standards with a Motorpal inline injector pump (1800 bar injection pressure) and EGR. (i did not hear of any aftertreatment !!)
The Forterra will get the 4 valve heads on the 4 cylinders somewhere in 2011. The Forterra will get this 6 cylinder engine in a new extension, as a 135 model.
