" The new machine has been developed at AGCO's specialist combine manufacturing plant in Denmark. It provides the same high quality build and ease of use as the larger 7200 Series machines and the range-topping CEREA combine built at the same plant, but without the advanced electronic and hydraulic control systems "This is that i read in the MF site news.As in this page can read everybody this combine is the same as the Deutz Ectron so why MF say that this combine is developed at AGCO plant in Denmark ?This kind of combine have been used by Deutz-Fahr since the 70's. In fact it's a Fahr 1300 with some improvements. The treshing sistem, walkers ans sieves are the same as in the 1300 series.

Absolutely right, so what are those people over at Agco thinking? Does anyone have any idea what's behind all this? What happened to Fendt being the A-brand of Agco. Can they keep up with that?

Hy,
the new MF/ Fendt combine is based on the Deutz-Fahr Ectron. The only difference is the cabin. But all models are produced in the Agco combine factory in Randers (Danmark), because Deutz-Fahr is transfering their combine-production from their plant in Lauingen (South-Germany) to the Dronningborg-plant.
In a press-release from april 2002 Deutz-Fahr mentiones, that the types Actor and Ectron have been built in Randers since spring 2001. An by january 2003 all Deutz-Fahr combines will be built in Danmark. Their were "economical and production-technical reasons" for this step. The production of combines in Lauingen will end in june 2002. But sales and service still remain in Lauingen.
An perhaps interesting note: Deutz-Fahr transfered their tractor-production from Cologne to Lauingen in the 1996.
