Woodbeef,
Cheers for the advice about metatags. I 'll look into it although I have got myself onto a course at the royal show ground about online stuff for agricultural business's. It only cost's £10 pounds!!
FWI - yep its gone down hill. I told the guy in charge that I was not going to use it again until he put passwords onto accounts after what happened with those other Lee's. There was another 3 of them you know! Although I have posted this morning on the crop forum - but that was a requirement for me. I now wont touch it again. Most forums come and go - farming online, farmgate etc etc.
However some are here to stay, like this one, as its dedicated to a very talked about subject. Since coming on here I have learnt a hell of a lot more about the machines we are operating in this country. I now know which ones to consider and which ones not to even touch. I think the FWI will stay as most parts of it are quite good but the forums will fade away into the background like all the others. Although I hope it doe snot if they get some sort of security system sorted.

simon,
you've got to try haven't you. you never know one day i might log on and have as many stars as the almighty woodbeef.
Have you seen the 'wingers' topic on FWI. I was a wanted man - a few other wanted me to post as a UK dealer was going on how most farmers moan about warranty and machinery prices.
I've now posted - hope i have been to hard on him! although some of the other posters have been fairly brutal - poor bloke. I think he'll be in for a shock on monday when he logs on.
Are you sure that challenger's been sold? The reason I ask is because if it was sold before the sale then why was it in the auction and why did it get from 50k up to 71k before anybody pulled out. seems like funny business to me as its the same on you told me about a while ago and it was 90k then.

Lee I hope you've not been too hard on us dealers!
As for the Cat, it was sold by the person who brought it in, for less than it was on my cost stock list, I will check, it has been sold again. As for the sale I reckon it was run up by the auctioneer.
Cheers Simon

Simon,
Apparently the 95 went to Humberside. At 71K at the sale I was tempted to start bidding. I would have gone up to 8OK for it. I have seen the same model sell through a claas dealer for over 90K only recently!
85K is not a bad price for a quality machine. Come on give us the inside info on these new maxxums and magnums then?

95 to near Lincoln
The MXM s are going to be for a start nothing more than a reclothed TM, apparently Cummins is working with Iveco on a new engine for it, to be used on both MXM and TM
Magnuums in Case colours no change That I'm aware of, a good machine, as you know. The NH Magnuum is as the photos with the engine close to the cab, loads of weight and supersteer to get the same balance and turning circle as the Magnuum. I think it has an Iveco engine. Did you know the Case turns tighter than the NH 70 series even when it has super steer?
I'll keep you updated
Simon

Simon,
Cheers and keep me filled in especially on the quad track version of the magnum as this is what we really need instead of a challenger. I know there's one up north but it should be here!!!!
