Wondering what tractors share the same plateform in the SDF lineup. In n. america, the deutz agrotron sort of lost it intial comeback. a lot of hype and few sales, and now, you dont hear anything about them, or every dealer ads.
Can't answer your question, but seems that looking at McCormick dealer lists many non major dealers in NA who need a tractor line have been able to take on McCormick line building on IH history leaving less oportunity for Argo tractors.
after take over of Deutz-Fahr by SLH group the Deutz got the same tranny and same frontaxle...but engines are Deutz. And the company isn´t called SLH(Same, Laborghini, Huerlimann) it´s called SDF now (Same-Deutz-Fahr) , don´t really know why...
There are some cross over between the two brands now. The Iron series is similar to the new Deutz Agroton. Will be interesting to see if Same also get Deutz motors in them. The old Deutz motors have got a good reputation for being reliable.
same will build in the next years: 0-45 hp at lublin mitsu engine (deutz-fahr, same, lamborghini, hurlimann, MF 45-130 hp at treviglio same/deutz engine (same, deutz-fahr, lamborghini, hurlimann, agco and special MF) 130-265 hp at lauingen deutz engine (deutz-fahr, same and lamborghini. 40-90 hp at india same engine (old explorer series and simple tractors for local market).
there goal is that diverend engines, trannies and caps not to mix up between diverend factorys, reduse complexety the say. If you have ever seen how many type's and sorts come out of the treviglio factory you get dissie. The man who work at the assembly line's are seeing many tipe's come by on one day, It is probleby a hell of a yob to get the right parts on the right moment at the line. the output at treviglio is still about 100 tractors a day and the same pices of same engine's.
"no engine smaller then 50 hp....and 50 60 and 70 hp only for polnish market"
Polish model Roller is mechanically similar to model Argon, with Dorado cab. Main difference is: all Roller models have short wheelbase (193cm), like Argon 50, when Argon 60 & 70 have longer wheelbase (206cm).
