Does anyone know anything about, or have pictures of, Al Frat tractors? They are built in Syria, and may be constructed of components from elsewhere. Thanks.

This is an old thread, but there were no responses. I stumbled across this info. Al Frat has tie-ups with Uzel/Massey Ferguson, and Mahindra. They also assemble some tractors in Syria. Their webpage is down, currently: www.alfratco.com/. Another site that is up is: www.syrtrac.com/ |

The Alfrat E470 looks like the first Ebro tractors which were based on the old Ford Major. Here's some pics for comparison.   New Hollander |

It sure does resemble the Ebro/Fordson Major! That may be the only tractor assembled/built in Syria.
