Is anybody having any problems logging into this service? Since I started using this forum I have never been able to log in. However I can now log in but every time I change to another page within the site I get logged out?
Help!

I've talked to the guys over at proboards.com who host this service. They tell me you have to have cookies enabled. If you're using Explorer 6 the following would help:
Q: I login fine, but when I click a link it logs me out!
A: Your browser is not accepting cookies properly. First check to make sure you have cookies enabled. Also, in Internet Explorer 6 you need to make sure that you have 3rd Party Cookies enabled.
Hope this will help.

I was just wondering why you were not a member, with all your great posts and all...

Why thankyou very much laapa for your nice comments. I think that this is the best place to discuss topics as its all friendly here. I posted on profi about 2 weeks ago and have had a fair bit of abuse just for my own personal views. There my views only and i am certainly not trying to force them on anybody else. But here its different for some reason - better.
I want some stars like you and woodbeef have got! How long do you have to post before you get some and become the 'senior member'?

Well Lee, you've got your stars now. It's as easy as that. A junior member needs to have posted about 20 messages. I think you've done about that in the past weeks, maybe a little more, but i can't verify that. So if you want three or four stars, you've got to earn them...

C'mon mr Administrator! Can't you count the number of posts Lee made whitout being a member and add them to his score? Of course you would then have to count my "Laapa on guest computer" posts as well and add to mine...
Another question, how do you make your own logo? I got Dilbert at the moment but would like something more "tractorish", like you got your "Waring machinery"-sign.

Hi Laapa, you're right i could try to count al Lees posts but i have to do that manually, the search option on this page can't do that. And for me, well it takes a little to much of my time.
You can have your own logo. At the profile-page you have to specify the place where your logo is situated on the internet, for example your own webpage. Beware it is a small logo, about 60x60 pixels. You can search for an icon on the web. But you can also use a picture (gif) that you simplify, just like i did with the 'warning' sign.

Yes, there is a problem. If you click the link this message comes up: Forbidden You do not have permission to get URL '/users/b576976d/bc/annat/aglogo.jpg' from this server. You are using space at the yahoo server. Yahoo doesn't allow links to pictures on their community from outside sites. In other words the picture can only be viewed when it is placed on a page on their server. Just placing it on a page doesn't do the trick. Which makes yahoo unusable for placing a logo. At the moment i'm using the free space at netfirms.com but they changed their policy to the one yahoo is using. So i wonder how long the warning-sign will be here...

Hi, you can also use www.anytimenow.com to store pictures. Seems very easy with no strange policies.
