Looked at a 2003 Case IH JX95 today and would like to hear from anyone who has been living with this tractor and has comments good or bad. The fit and finish in the cab looked suspect. Is the same tractor offered by New Holland? Is the same tractor offered in UK under a different name?
Thanks John in OK

It is the same basic tractor as the NewHolland TD Model. Both are made in turkey.

Not sure, but I think assembly of the Case-IH JX and equivalent New Holland TDD have since been transferred to Itlay. They definitely were being assembled in Turkey; maybe they still are though some CNH people told me that has changed recently.
They told me that build quality has improved since the move to Italy.
A '03-reg model would definitely have come from the Turkish plant anyway.

I do not think the production of tdd was move to italy , the more big market of this tractor is asia oriente , has a small market in europe or usa , if they change the production to italy the price of tractor to be increased , the great advantage of tdd over its competitors is the low price .

The production of the TD-D/JX for the European market is moved to Italy. The Turkish plant produces those for the other markets.

that the 3 and 4 litre Iveco/Cummins engine is more efficient than the 4.5 that replaced it in the JXU range. I have a JX60 made in Turkey. Mechanically, it is a good little tractor, heavier than the equivalent Deeres and better on fuel looking at the data, in spite of being simpler engines. Fit and Finish on the engine bonnet is pretty poor, doesn't close properly and snags on the muffler, but have not had problems with the rest of the machine and she does a lot of work for a little tractor. Looking at more recent models at the dealers, they do seem to have improved fit and finish, but you might want to inspect the fit and finish closely if you are worried about your tractor being neat and pretty. The one problem that I have heard about the JX (Turkish-build) was the a/c system was junk....and quite often they were shipped without gas (freon) in the system.
