The new Bobcat tractors are out in the USA. They are built by Daedong/Kioti in S.Korea. I thought when this was first announced that the Bobcats were going to have a different, exclusive design, but the models I've seen look identical to the Kioti's! Three models are out currently, with 6 more planned for 2008. Wonder if Bobcat skid-steers will switch from Kubota engines to Daedong? i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa93/davitk/DSCN0509.jpg

Doosan Infracore bought Bobcat from Ingersoll-Rand in 2007. Doosan purchased Daewoo's construction equipment business in 2005. As far as I've seen, there are no financial ties between Doosan and Daedong/Kioti. But both are S.Korean.
