Just notice that they offer front brakes, sort of a rarity on this type tractor. Anyone run of these, how are they. No, just inquiring about them. I am not a zetor nut, just wondering, seems like a good tractor.

Zetor owners are not "Nuts", they are addicted, kind of a "Cult" thing.

though I have been raised on a diet of prehistoric Zetors I've not got any idea about the Proxima. I have a however driven a multitude of different tractors and the latest Zetor I drove being a 1999 7450E was amoung the best of them.
Zetor seem to know their target audience. The new Zetors will probably be a little rough around the edges compared to more main stream stuff, you will have to engauge the part of the human brain reserved for operating Zetors when you drive them. When you have done this, my experience has shown that given some basic maintainace the Zetor will go on going about it's business with out to much fuss. But this hasn't really answered your question...

With the changes made at the factoy, the finished Zetor product is not rough around the edges, completly the opposit. Also with the models that have been introduced over the last 8 years have brought the tractors into the 21st century. The brakes are no longer a problem, and the new balance engine is very smooth.
