Multidrive Tractors - what can anyone tell me about this brand, how old are they, where are they, who owns one and how do they run? Hearing stories about them in NZ & AU are they a good competitor against Fastrac?

Don´t think, that you can compare the Multidrive with the Fasttrac. From view of things: www.multidrivetractors.co.uk/capacity.htmit is a implement carrier, which can also tow a trailer. But indeed 18 tons hauling capacity isn´t that much. |

From what I've found, the company was founded in 1983 and was originally part of the Brown Group of Companies.

Hi Multidrive was originally an independent company, and took over the production of a self-propelled chassis most commonly used as an SP sprayer from a John Deere dealer called Clayton, which had developed it. Clayton sold it to Multidrive, but Multidrive went bust about four years back. The product was bought by Kellands www.kellands.co.uk who also make the LGP Agribuggy sprayer vehicle. Martin |
