I'm looking for second hand combine. What do you think about JD 1170, year 1997, 314 header, 1200 hrs? Would it be good choise?
I know that they are made in Brazil, but is quality as good as it is german products?

Hougan seeing as no one has answered I will give you what little information I know. There is one quite close to me which by all reports is reliable and does a good job. I have been in it in laid barley and it hummed away It had however a 16ft european header. Being a deere parts should be fairly readily avalable but it might be worth actually asking prices and avalability of obvious belts and bushes. Being a bit of an orphan it should maybe be cheaper than say an older 1177.
