The high price for used ones. ;D LSA can not be a 2wd. A stands for 4wd. if 2wd then 306 LS.
The tractor is 22 years old and with 9000 hrs? For sure, it depends for what use the tractor will be, an how much hrs it should ran/year.

negatives are crappy brakes, gearshift layout is weird if you arent used to it, and high price. However, if you ever decide to sell it, it still be worth good $$...
It has the A series engines which are trouble free, unlike the later B series (1992 ? ) which needed a modification.

13k canadian ? i assume in Canada the value of a used Fendt is comparable to the value of a used Deere in europe... In europe, the value of a used Fendt is comparable to the value of a used Deere in Canada...
To me it sounds like buying a used Fendt in Canada, is a "bang for the buck" option compared to buying a used (and in North America over valued) Deere.

The newer 700, 800s, and 900s will fetch much higher prices than the odd 309 or 512. Infact many 900s with 4000+ hours on them are being sold for nearly the same price as a new JD 8030!!!

The pre-Agco Fendts over here are gray-market ones. Hence the prices. Never heard of any Fendt Dealers in Quebec, but there might have been at one time.

is it European ex-pats that buy them as apposed to North American Canadians? Are people buying them to do different work to the American tractors?
Some people moan when they can't get parts for their tractor in town, buying a grey import must need quite a bit of commitment from the person that buys it.
