Since RostSelMash has purchased the Buhler company, manufacturer of the Versatile tractors, they have announced that they are dropping the Buhler name on the tractors. They will simply be Versatile again! It includes a "new" logo. www.versatile-ag.com/

I thought we covered this already? I am curious, though, since the genocide engine is gone, and they are entering the higher HP market, is the 145-180 HP models still available?

I think Cummins engines are being fitted to replace the Genisis, and Buhler was working on a smaller chassis, down to 110 pto hp, I think it may have been a ZF transaxle was one of the ones they were trying, do not know if the new company is still working with it. I wonder if eventualy RostSelMash will want to take this factory to Russia??

Genesis engine production ceased back in October at the New Holland factory in Basildon, England, so Buhler/Versatile will have had to look for new powerplants.

It's my understanding that they (Buhler) bought alot of Genisis engines awhile back to hold them over untill the new engine was fitted. I think you can sell a engine that does not meet todays spec as long as it met the specs of the year in which it was built. The Chinese were labeling there engines as being built in the 90s' to get around EPA at one time, do not know if they are still doing it.
