Does anybody has experience with this model of combine? I'm interested in advantages, disadvantages, problems, campared to other makers, etc. Is it good investment to buy one from 1992? Thank you.

Hi Zvoni, how are things these days?
My onliest experience I have with combines is with Claas. But I only have heard good things about the NH combines.
Neighbour had 1530 with the 5 cyl Fiat engine, when he did farming and never had any major problems with it, and so I have heard from other owners.
By investing in such a machine it is good to know the preowner, you know, every machine is only as good as it has been maintenanced by his preowners. A NH combine from 1992 should not been expensiver then a comparable Claas or Deutz-Fahr. If the price is right, a NH combine is a good investition.

Hey Bernhard! Seems that I'm quiet for a long time. Yep, some life situations change lot of things. Mentioned combine is for my friend, and he told me that DF or Claas used combines are overpriced. So, they find mentioned combine somewhere near Netherlands border in Germany. He told me that seller has several NH combines in good shape. And price is acceptable for them. Only problem is that NH are rare here, and nobody knows anything about them. He told me that mentioned combine has header leveling and Ford 210PS engine.
Hope to talk soon on Chatzy...

From my point of view I would state, that quality of the Nh is same then Claas or DF, while Fahr in former years sold the Claeys(NH) Combines as Claeys-Fahr and they had been a lot of them around. There are 2 used ones running in neighbour village and, as I have told neighbour had one with Fiat 5 cyl engine.
I guess, there is nothing wrong with the Ford engine, parts for it should be available in Croatia, too. I´m not sure about availability of Combine parts, but as a famous brand it should be no prob to get them.
