Just saw this on the Trekker & Werktuig site: It says Fendt want € 5.179 for a roof window and airconditioning. This made me curious so I just tried out the configurator on the Fendt site. They want € 2.099 just for airco on a 400 which makes € 3.080 for just a piece of plastic !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who do Fendt think they're dealing with? sadly new hollander, its not fendt pulling the wool over eyes it agco, they have cut quality of what was a great brand everywhere, eg alternators are now iskra instead of bosch top links are cbh instead of waltershield and to get parts well that is just a joke. I'm sure old Xaver would be rolling in his grave. it is a shame as they are great to drive if you can get your head around everything they can do.

I never understood why people payd all that money for just some software, if the hydrostatic drive unit is a pretty straightforward production unit, and the planetary can be made to order at most machine shops.... If you add everything up from OEM prices, you still pay a lot of money...
Sure its me again being skeptic, but still... Fendt builds its own transmissions, but what do they actually build ?? the key part is a slightly modified Sauer hydrostatic unit found in many smaller wheel loaders.
