Hi everybody.
On the Zetorworld forum, Dave from the U.K. asked me what revs are safe to let his 5245 run at.
This made me wonder: What are experiences for tweaked rev engines by you? I've heard the MB Trac from one of the mr. Sutton's running at 2850 rpm.

Maybe is not the same but the old Deutz-Fahr DX run at 2200-2300 rpm but the same engine in a combine can run at 2600-2800 with no probrem. My combine runs at 2600 RPM with a F6L913 Don't know what will happen in the gearbox of a DX if the engine turns at 2600 RPM

Yeah, and the pro stock tractorpullers rev them at 4500 rpm...
I was wondering what this does to your pistons, i mean wear. Ours runs at 2600 rpm

Hey Renze,
What does Zetor say for revs in the specs?

The rev clock says 1300-2200 is green, 2200-2400 is orange, 2400-2800 is red.
Originally, they are supposed to deliver full power at 2200 rpm, idle (i mean no load, full throttle) at 2400 rpm.
