Cat moved the Challenger assembly to Dekalb years ago. At least 5 or more ago.

The Caterpillar Challenger Series Mark II (35, 45 & 65 models) were nearly rubber tracked New Holland G/70 (Genesis) Series since they were built at Winnipeg and based on New Holland models (same transmission, cab, ...) .
The latest Challengers (MT700 and MT800) are designed by Caterpillar and as happened with the first Challengers (1986ยด) it can be said they are fully Cat (design, engineering, components...) made at Dekalb. Anyway now all these Series belong to Agco as we know...
On the other hand the Design Studio involved in the new TG Series has being also working for Caterpillar (mainly articulated dump trucks and rollers)...so, who knows... But I must say there is no relation at all between these two bonnets (completely different styling)

I checked it. No connection at all between the industrial designers involved in the styling for the latest Challenger Series and the ones for the TG Series project. Well, just one connection...both teams are brilliant

European A,
It was the 34, 45 and 55 that had the Genesis Cab and gearbox, not the 65.
The 65, 75, 85 and 95 have always been CAT
Sorry for being niggley.
Lee
