Kenjar pointed out a new Kubota model that is available in OZ. www.kubota.co.au It is a real farm tractor built on the M100 platform, but with a 4 cyl motor. Has anyone seen these yet?

www.kubota.com.auA boy next to us has a B7000 12 hp 4wd. Nice machine, for hobby use they will last very long. We even powered the firewood saw table with it. (Smokes like a Ford)

i guess u read my post on ag-online
m90 sounz like a good model with the powershift and all
NZ got the m65 and other models as japanese imports, complete with rice tires, i guess they were exclusive japanese domestic market machines, like the blue MF6180 and the iseki 567
m65 wasn't a power shift, but it was a shuttle, and did have 4 post rops and a flat platform for the operator
laters
pudding
ps. the iseki SX series we got in NZ, was un available in north america, and was labeled the 10 series in japan, there was the 6010,7010 (sx75),and 9010
nz got a sx85 which was a 7010 with turbo
the 9010 (i think, it could have been the 10510) was the SX95 in NZ, which had the isuzu 6bd1 motor, found in the white 2-70

Hey pudding,
Me thinks you mean the White 2-75. It was the bade-engineered Iseki model not the 2-70 which was the Oliver model.

Hey Woodbeef,
Talked to Kubota USA, there are no present plans to sell the M90 here. The folks in Australia seem to be the only ones who are getting the M90.

Hey guys, it seems that in the States, quite some Kubotas are running around. I havent seen a (Kubota)farm tractor in real, just a compact from the municipal works, and the mini tractor of my neighbor.
If i look at my neighbor's B7000 12 hp, i dont think it will take much. They didn't gave me the impression to be tough built. Now i know a B7000 is absolutely not comparable to the type of tractors i am used to, (6718 & 5245) but i wonder how the Kubota farm tractors in the M class are.
Their tractors will last long at average use, but are they built tough?? I've heard of snapping front axles when using a frontloader on them, on other forums.
(I will not generalise this and say because of one snapped front axle, that a Kubota is poor built, to avoid any misinterpretations)

Hi Renze, Yes Kubota sells very well. They are a dominant brand in the under 100hp class. As far as there build, well constructed, but considered to be of the light/medium class. except the M100 which is of heavier build. The M100 platform would be comparable to say a Forterra in weight. Devor is the distributor for Kubota and Fendt in Holland. www.devor.nl/

Renze....kubotas tend to wear out operators......those japanese guys can really build a nice and tough tractor.....the M90 in aussie is probably a 'pilot' market tractor, sufficent demand, they will expand into other markets.....this happens a lot down there, it also happens in the northern hemispheres off season, allowing for kubota to have there act together for americas next summer

Yes, i know it's De Vor. But i wonder how YOU know that?? searched, or just a broad memory??
They didn't have had successfull marketing. They tried to lease them real cheap, but that was about it. Some people use them in fruit and vegetables, but those are the ones who have one farm tractor next to their fleet of compacts.

Hey Renze, Devor, sorry on the spelling. Hey I,m not as dumb as I look. Yes that would be debatable. Doing a bit of surfing. Found Rijnbeek Tuinbouwmachines as a distributor for Kubota and Abemec for Fendt. I guess they serve different areas.

Yes, Abemec serves the central southern provinces, in a circle around Eindhoven. (the home city of Philips electrics, and DAF trucks. De Vor serves the rest of the Netherlands, and the south-east. Kenjar: to say "I'm not as dumb as i look like" means nothing to me. (i dont KNOW how you look like, remember??) Hey, if i would say that, i guess you all would think i look EXTREMELY dumb...
