in documentary, on the II world war, to say that to the Nazi josef mengele and his family, to have factory of farm machinery . to have relation with mengele, the manufacturer of forage harvester?

I dont know if there are any relations. Or Nieghbour had a Mengele Forage Harvester back in the 80s. On the Type-Plate was the Name "Karl Mengele & Söhne" (Karl Mengele & Sons). Maybe there were two Mengele farmmachinery manufacturers at that time. We had also two tractor Manufacturers with the Name "Lanz": Heinrich Lanz, Mannheim (today John Deere), and Hermann Lanz (HELA), Aulendorf - they discontinued tractor production in 1979. some pics of HELA tractors: home.t-online.de/home/traktorbahnhof/hphela.htm |

Found something about Josef Mengele on the web. For those who are able to read german: www.dhm.de/lemo/html/biografien/MengeleJosef/He was a son of Karl Mengele (founder of the Mengele Factory) and was "Dr. phil." worked at the "Leipziger Universitätsklinik" (Hospital) before WWII. Was NAZI in WWII. Worked only from 1948 to 1949 in the Mengele Factory of his Father. Then went under wrong Name to Argentinia, later to Paraguay, was searched Worldwide, died 1979. |
