I've seen Motokov Canada literature for the Lambo engined one,but never seen or heard of anything bigger than the 10540 over here.

Well, the Canadian Motokov guys think the same of the Lambo engine as i do.
They had a kind of fight with Martin. They have gone separate ways. And the Martin built engine has 110 mm bore, while the UR3 has 105 mm bore. I think ZTS did not want to take the western technical approach, and therefor Zetor did not want them to sell with their name. ZTS surely had the western financial approach, though.. They were lucky, they werent tied to Motokov.

Nice pictures, Renze, Are there any New Forterra's running yet in the Steernbos region? Talked to a nearby dealer, he is looking to have some of them to sell at the first part of 2003.

hum,? first part of 2003... Will they be introduced together with the new six cylinder models??
No, no Forterra's running around here.. That 10641 was here just for display, and went to Belgium, and the 11441 was sold to the North East polder, about 25 km away from here.
I havent seen one out in the wild...
I wonder who wins: an old 1974 Crystal 12045, or a new 11441 Forterra.. The average engine power will be about the same at 1800-2200 RPM...
By the way: has anyone heard a word about ZTS??

Renze,
From what I gather we will get the 114 and lower horsepower models first. No Lambo engined models for us. I presume Zetor will have their own 6 cyl version some time next year. When they do we should get that model, also. They are talking maybe the later part of next year. This is to be the 120 hp model.
Rumor has it Zetor went with the Lambo engine in the 116 because it met emission standards in all parts of the world. The Martin might not have done the same.

But why??
They didn't even sell them in the U.S. and i was thinking the U.S had the strongest emission regulations.
And they could always have their 105x120 drivework be installed in the Crystal block, with a Motorpal pump. Just the bore of the Martin engine is 110 instead of 105, but that wont be the problem, i think.
The ZTS tractors are still being sold in the Netherlands.
But hopefully, they have their own ones, upto 130 hp soon. I hope they will buy ZTS soon, and put that 6-pitter in the UR2 soon, to make a basic higher power tractor series. with the current technical level, they could make it 165 hp. (110/4 cyl. is 165/6cyl.)
For the premium line, they should develope something totally new, i suppose. If they dont make or buy a CVT, they need at least a 5 or 6 stage powershift with 4 to 6 main speedranges.
Or some complex torque converter system as i described earlier on this forum, a mix of a semi-CVT and a powershift. I dont mean a TQ connected with a powershift, but a hydrodynamic powershift. This system (if it ever works) will be wear- and service free and have almost infinite lifespan. That's something that fits in their strategy, i think.
(i dont think you know exactly what i mean, but i dont know how to explain this, and i havent worked this idea out yet)

Hey Renze, On the Martin engine, I don't know for sure. Hey it may just be a rumor. Pronar is a company in Poland that sells ZTS, along with MTZ in their colors. www.pronar.pl/

I wonder why the ZTS is in red,and not Pronar blue?
They sure make the MTZ tractors look better in their livery!!
