Sorry folks, happened to press "Enter" and all of a sudden I´d posted - nothing. Embarassing. Anyways, here goes:
Found that Webmaster didn´t know what the new narrow-track models from Fendt are. So far Fendtpeople are talking about V:s and P:s. That is, as of yet nothing at all has been said about any new S-models. Strange, don´t know why yet. The introduced new models are: 206V, - 60Hp(65 Max), BF3L914, 3.24 lit. 207V, - 70Hp(73 Max), same engine, 208V and P, 80Hp (86 Max), BF4L914, 4.3 lit. 209V and P, 90Hp (94 Max), same engine.
The V-models have a total with of around 105 - 115 cm. The P-models are around 150 cm wide.
They can be equipped with as many as 6 hydraulic valves. As the former models they are all equipped with electrohydraulic power lift.
Looking at the pictures of the V-models makes me remember an ad that was used in Australia some 10 years ago, presenting the V-models. The text said: "We are very narrow minded".
Talking about pictures: I have problems with the 1:st picture (I suppose it´s a picture of the 930), can´t open it. Anybody else having this problem?

same problem,
the small Fendts are very good (and expensive!) tractors. impressive. They are going to have a large, high-tech productrange; you've heard they are selling balers in Fendt-design! I think Agco is pussing Fendt up, maybe above the MF-range.......

Fendt design you are tlaking about is only worth the extra money for collectors. Fendt, MF or Hesston are equal to me.

Renze,
I believe, You're right, in the future. But at the Moment, Fendt and MF are independet Brands under the Roof of AGCO. As I know the Favorit 926, 270HP is the biggest Fendt. The Fendt V-Type is a specialist for Wineyards and Orchardfarming, the S-Types are smaller Standard-Tractors in V-Design. Bernhard, Derichsweiler, Germany

There is a new biggest for Fendt: the 930, 310 hp. Check the news page on www.agmachinery.tkIn my opinion, Fends are that expensive because you pay for the name. (and for the fancy bells and whistles of course) But i shouldn't say that, because the Fendt-loyal people will fall over this. (sure Fendt did some good things, but no more than others.)

Sure You're rigth, but what's about Rolls-Royce or Mercedes? You can also drive in a 2CV or a Fiat 500/126. But I believe it's also the Reputation of Fendt, that helps selling them and the Dealers Network. Maybe the have made some Tractors that don't satisfy there Owners, but thar can't be so much. The GT-Range is the only one of the Types of Tractors that is still living, except Schneider. And a lot of Manufacturers in Germany built Tractors like the GT so like Eicher, Lanz, Fahr or Güldner even Ritscher, but they are all gone long Time ago.

Come on Renze! To say that MF is equal to Fendt is ridiculous. Just go through the specifications. Probably they will be pretty similar in a near future but now... Is Seat equal to Audi? Do not misjudge those who buy Fendt. These tractors are worthy depending on the way you are using them and what are you using them for...

Well now,I'd have to say.........That if you can use it to its fullest a Fendt is the way to go. But if you do not use it in the way it was designed, you are just wasting your money. Would a 412 be usefull to me making hay? Sure but so would a lot of other tractors at a lower price!!

For the hay presses, indeed Fendt is equal to an MF.
For tractors, sure MF is something different than a Fendt. But when i drove a Fendt 307 4WD at the contractor my brother mostly works, i thought this was a nice tractor, however it sure had some tranmission play at 7000 hrs, but that was not a problem after 7000 hours.
At home, i looked for the new price for a 307. It was 115.000 guilders (a that time, currently about 52.184 Euro) Well, i was convinced that what i drove was actually not worth that much money, but just somebody did pay that price for it. And the transmission doesn't even have powershift for that price !!
