Hydraulic trannies perform better with PTO jobs !!?
By the way: Our contractor has an 8300. I can hear the engine is no Benz or Deutz, according to the sound. I suppose it is a MAN ?? Steyr truck division is taken over by MAN, and i think the Steyr trucks may have had MAN engines longer than since the takeover.

There is a Manufacturer, Schmidt, in St. Georgen/Black Forest, Germany, who built Snowblowers mounting at Trucks or Tractors. They use Mercedes-engines up to 320 HP. If You want more Info, I can check it out.
