Anyone in Europe using those EuroMaus beet loaders? Or seen one in action? Let me know how they work. People in Canada were thinking of importing one. I need full details and criticism.
Cost? Repairs? Reliability? Performance?
Any little things that you can add.
What other makes of cleaners are out there - eg Harptely Engineering (sp?)
Leave me your Email, and I'll get into more specifics

Hy Jon, here in germany the ropa Euro Maus and the Kleine RL 200 SF are the the most common self-propelled machines for loading and cleaning sugar beets. If you need more informations about these two machines, try the homepages of the two companies: ropa: ropa.webinform.comkleine: www.kleine-agrartechnik.deI don't know exactly, but ropa has also an english version of there homepage.

Well Folks, I'm bringing this post from out of the graveyard. I posted this when I was a wee little pup - infact, it was my first post!!! I'm doing this because the first Ropa Euromaus has arrived in North America. And it has loaded its first trucks. The machine is quite impressive, and the service from the factory is quite impressive too. It does a very good job of cleaning sugar beets. the north american website is www.ropanorthamerica.comIts interesting machinery. I'll let you guys know as the harvest progresses how we make out, and maybe I'll post some pictures, if I come across a scanner or something
