Jose,
Deere was about the only manufactorer to offer a front wheel drive that was driven hydraulicly. They didn't have the performance that the mechanical one's do.
I know Allis-Chalmers and Oliver made an attempt with the hydraulic front drive but neither were successful.
I don't know if the Deere tractor used its own components or if they were purchased from outside vendors.

I think you meant to say:
Did any other manufacturers apart from JD use HFWD?
If this is what you meant? Then I'd have to say that I've never heard of any that were put into production,by any one else.

There was a company in the netherlands, modifying big HFWD Deeres. They changed the front axle to a kind of row crop trike, covering a track of 3 meters of tires. It was used for seedbed tillage, it could provide an equally compacted seedbed for, for example, sugar beets and vegetables.
