Gee Renze.........I guess you never saw or heard about the junk recycled steel that FoMoCo foisted on us in the mid to late 70s. This stuff would make your beloved Italian material look like stainless!!
Some buyers were lucky if they got past the 12 month warranty before major structual damage from rust through occured, let alone what you could see on the outside.
Some buyers were given as high of credits on trade in of $3500-4000 under a Ford silent recall. But only if it was within 2 years of original purchase, and that you bought another Ford product. Now remember back in these days a loaded 4wheel drive pick up only sold for $6500 or so,and a Lincoln went for $12,500 or so!!

Many meanings. One is product ,in finnish tuote.Other is near rubbish ,finnish word roska. I think you mean more rubbish instead of product. How you could use in future Zetor, with Same engine and as i know in gearbox are syncronizing rings italian stuff also. Ask FFF.

Well, early 2003, the 12741 will be introduced. It is about almost certain, that the new, long awaited Zetor 6 cylinder engine will be introduced in this model. I am told that, within a few months, (early 2003) the 11641 with old bonnet will be replaced by the 11741.
Meantime, the 11441 with Zetor built turbo-intercooled 4 will perform as good (or even better) as the 11641. Both have the same torque, 480 Nm. The 11441 has a better torque raise. I think i will do more work when i give the 11441 that 5-10 hp extra, than if buy the Same engine.
Synchronisation rings: Zetor trannies are known to be not the most friendly on changing gears... But these rings only work when changing gears, not when it's in a gear.. When you have put it in gear, then at least you have shifted some decent gearwheels...
By the way: these rings still run in the transmission oil bath... No place for rust.
And: to be honest, i have a dictionary on my computer table too... I think hangin' out on these forums is the best way to improve my language skills.
The word "stuff" means also drugs, or ready-to-smoke marihuana.
Woodbeef: I'm not gonna admit that i am not a Ford enthusiast... That's too predictable. (and partly true)

Hey Triple F,
So you're trying to figure out the conglomeration that they call slang in the English language,eh?
Stuff as Renze used it is a catch-all word for.... things,or objects,parts,pieces,etc......
What makes it even hard for any of us that English is our native language, is that we are from all over the world. Regional meanings come into effect quite readily with slang.
Heck I get lost most times trying to understand what I wrote, let alone read!!
I wish you luck my friend!!!

Hey Triple F, It seems there are new words or words with different meanings popping up here all the time. We just get used to that kind of stuff. Woodbeef, Did I hear you right, blue will be optional or is it red for the Landini 60's? Renze. The 12741 will be the 120hp Forterra that I heard mention of. We are supposed to get them late next year. Maybe you won't be so hard on the Italians if Zetor goes ahead and developes its own 6.

Heissan all. It's true that i'm not able understand all slang meanings of words what you are using. But anyway i don't want hurt anybody,it's still easy because sometimes i could create missunderstandings. Ok,this word stuff,by the way i looked dictionary book which is for professional use and there is about 40 different meanings for this word.
Renze,i have forgotten to tell that the latest Zetor what i have used is 8540.Some way i like it and some things i don't like.Anyway it works,it's different to use comparing other brands but still work is going on.
Let's hope that Zetor is going strongly ahead, but their future is their own hands.

Hey Kenjar,
The brochure says red is an available color, local adds say take your pick of colors,Landini rep said red is standard color. So which is which,hhhmmmm.........I'd go with the brochure I guess!
Hey TripleF,
English slang is really a seperate language all its own. That is one reason I try not to use very much of it. Mainly because as you have pointed out it can be misconstrued very, very easily.
When you drove that Zetor 8540,how did you find the front vision and manouverability of the tractor on a whole?

Heips,WB as i understood you asked my opinion of Zetor driving. Ok,lets try. First impression is that this tractor is made for strong hands.Gearsbox stic is long, its need more move and force as Case,Valtra or Fiat. Also the system is opposite comparing those others.1:st gear is right back, normally left front.Lets start driving. This 8540,owner is my cousin, have Barum weared tyres. It's jumping like a rabbit when it hit max.speed on the road. This is easy repair changing tyres.Main thing what i have done with this machine is crop transportation from field to dryer. therefore jumping is sad thing. .But the engine of 8540 is more powerfull as i estimated, when it loose little bit speed it starts try keep rounding speed, torque is good. One thing is that when you stopped this tractor is necessary switch off many electrical systems like cabin fan, also lingage quick button, etc. In other case battery is empty until next day.Normally nowadays when you swicthed off electricity with key all things stops.Turning radius of this tractor is big, maybe new models are different. The owner is using this 8540 mainly for logsaw, for power and transportation. He have other tractor for field operation, sometimes he use Zetor also in fields. Anyway,Zetor is working his own way,i don't remember how many hours it have but maybe 4000-6000. FFF

Yes.. A zetor pulls... The guy who bought the first new 11441 forterra, traded it for his 10540. The guy works in the polder, clay soils, and co-operates with his neighbors. He uses it next to 120-130 hp six cylinder Deeres, MF's and NH's. It can keep up with them, hauling potatoes from the land.
