Hey, i ran into this picture on farmphoto. I think it's a really nice one. Does anyone have information on this tractor, and the brand Hurlimann in general, before those Italian Gigolo's ate them ?? www.farmphoto.com/homestead/message.asp?mid=14621

At one time Hurlimann was a very well respected hi-tech Swiss tractor manufacturer. They started in 1929 hand-building tractors. This lasted until the Same takeover in 1978. As for the future of the brand today.......

So Hurlimann is unknown to you too?
Anyway, that Hurlimann has the same green paint as my 6718. Red too. Maybe that's why i liked it.
Har, har, now let's wait till Woodbeef says: "i was waiting or that one to come..." Predictable predictions, i'd say.

Hurlimann is available in the USA. As are some Lamborghini, Deutz-Fahr and Same tractors.

I thought the green color came after the Same buyout.
In 1975 Hurlimann became the Swiss importer for Lamborghini,I guess it made it easier for Same's plan that way. At least under Same,Hurlimann has opened up new markets for the name.
We do/did have them over here for awhile. The Belarus importer Catex was bringing them in. They were pretty pricey for a Same product!!
Never seen a Zetor painted Hurlimann green in color, myself.
Ahhh Renze........predictions are a lot like assumptions. Only ones I know who make money on them are Weather forecasters!!

I think i'm gonna resume my work on the 7 series page these days. You will see the green paint on the early 7 series is very similar to the green paint on that Hürlimann T 14000. (i didn't mean the current green paint on new tractors, but the body paint on the T 14000 and the body paint on the 6718. When i said same, i meant similar, and not "SAME") I'd like to dig into the Hurlimann history too. By the way: i think you can count the most of them environmental scientists with those weather forecasters.. Predicting that the Netherlands will be 2 meters below sea in 100 years, due to the greenhouse effect... phew, the can tell it so credible that they start believing it themself !!! My earth bucket is at my work, i'm welding on a new bottom sheet, and some reinforcements. (wrecked it on the treestub i spoke about...) So that means i cannot reinforce d*kes at the moment. Let's pray it wont happen right now..

Hey Renze, There is a bit of Hurlimann's history at their website. www.hurlimann.com/hurli_ingl/storia/fsto.htmWonder why they changed the colors to green? Maybe to close to Same's color. By all means update the URI pages. I have been waiting for you to do so. You might have to use your finger till you get your bucket fixed. Or is that little Dutch boy still doing this? ;D

My finger... Huh So, that T 14000 has a hydrostatic tranny. And they had a direct injected Diesel engine in 1938 or so. Sure, Hurlimann was a hi-tech brand those days !! I think while they are under SAME cover, their electronics have a little diffferent tweak.
