Not too bad looking,if I do say so myself. The fit and finish was quite surprising also for an econo tractor. CIH says that they can not get ahold of enough of them!!

hey woodbeef.....i have a brochure on the JXU MXM and the update MX series, and i honestly say i like the red new hollands better than the blue.........case has a few more features, which are nice, ie electronic linkage and draft control on the cab JXU, better lift capacity, and different loaders.....
the mxm has a nice display and lever for the powershift/throttle, all in all nice machines
laters

I bet the CIH dealers are happy to have that series, they now have an econo model to sell.
Oh by the way congratulations, Woodbeef, you are over 500 in postings.

The electronic lift and draft control is the same as on the TL. Case has nothing more than NH.

I must agree with Bart. Nothing more than a NH, only a few differences all non importnant features. In the price NH is the winner, why do you want to pay more, only for the red color? Well if the dealer is better is a possibility, but only this. Well i have reached a good number

Woodbeef, ya know, one more star and you will have reached SuperStar status.
Bart and Xavier, Are you comparing the CaseIH JX to the NH TD? The NH TL and CIH JXU models would be similiar. Dealers being equal, I would buy on price.
Xavier, Ah, your number, a very enjoyable one at that. ;D

In the test of new MXM vs. MTX McCormick, they said the looks of the MXM are not very balanced, (cab to nose) and i agree. They said the MXM has a nicer powershift, but the MTX was just nicer to handle. It seems to become a difficult choice for old Case buyers, they said.
I think i wouldn't buy the MTX with the rear axle problems everyone speaks of, and i just do not want to drive a red new holland. If i was a Case man, i would buy and rebuild a good old 1455 and let Case drop dead with their NH's

I think as Case driver you can better buy again Case. Why change to an other dealer ? The 4200 and Cx-series aren't as good as the 845 and other older models, altough most Case owners are happy with it, so why shouldn't they happy with a red TM ?

Hey Bart, A CX or 4200 is not comparable to a TM ...And a Tm is not comparable with a good old 1455... Maybe, if i was the case man, i would go with a CS instead of a 1455...

Hey Renze,
Now you're finally starting to make some sembelence of sense!! If its not a Valtra, then go with a Steyr product. At least is has the joint venture Sisu engine!!

..And why are you so fond of Sisu? I have heard the Sisu drinks a lot...
Also, the Steyr is priced too high, and just as the Valtra, it has too much electronics.
No, if i would buy another tractor, i would buy a 6748 if i can still get one in good condition. I like the amazing power of our 6718, but it misses the traction of some proper tires, and MFWD.

Hey Renze,
I'd have to say it is because of the unbelievable power of them. That and along with the cab size, looks, options, engineering, robustness, built in dependability,etc,etc,etc.......
I'm affraid electronics are here to stay, just like in cars and pick-ups!!

Yes electronics are here for stay.
I don't think they are the devil. It is only a problem of doing things well.
But electronic is for make our job easily, not to difficult it...
Another things come like a option and now who doesn't want them. A example the AIR ACCONDITION, yes Woodbeef it isn't a option, almost here, not sure than you need but...
