www.farmphoto.com/homestead/message.asp?dsply=all&mid=8189check this picture. It's a ZTS 18345 with a front axle, which is not built by ZTS. I think i have seen this axle also under the new TM. But the TM has four bulges on the planetary cover, and the ZTS has three. I think they are from the same manufacturer. Or will both axles be Hungarian Raba's ?? Steiger used Raba axles too, in also the quadtrack has Raba axles, i think to know. (NH TM => CIH Magnum => CIH Steiger) Does anyone have supplementary info on the ZTS UR4 tractors, model 2000 ? The company website isn't updated for about 2 years.

I thought Zetor and ZTS were using Carraro front axles. This could be a new or different Carraro design. Renze, isn't Carraro an Italian company? Any rust problems with them?

Zetor uses Carraro axles since about 1996.
ZTS uses the old front axle as it was used on the Zetor 8045 Crystal, from 1968. The UR4 models arent seen in the Netherlands since mid 90's, they were too expensive for a tractor with a cheap name.
On thin sheet metal, there were rust problems with italian stuff. I dont think there will rust some holes in a heavy axle housing, so rust wont be a problem.
But still, the Carraro built JD 5000 series was crap. Have heard no complains about the standard axles though, just the suspended axle under the Steyr and Case.
