The more I think about the look of the 7020s that have been released so far,the more I wonder if Deere will move them to Manheim? Afterall they do have a striking resembalance to the 6020s,especially the larger ones.
Could the so far unreleased larger 7020s be more 8020 like, than 6020? If so then it would make sense to make them alongside the 8020s and send the others across the pond.

Hey, if you want to throw up abusive language, get in touch with MTV, and ask for Mr. Eminem !!
In fact, i think the 7000 and 6000 have been building on the same basic platform as long as they existed. Just the 7000's had the option of a full powershift.
By the way: My uncle from Canada told me last summer, when he was here, that over there, 2130's made in Germany would go for double the price of one made in the U.S. , equal hours and condition.

Cornbeef please calm yourself.
Woodbeef it could be posible, they are almost clonics, only number isn't equal, all specs, ...
Only difference i have seen is in the wheels.
There is another posibility, is based on the modular concept of JD, if you have the same motor, trans, rear axle, frame, front axle, cab,... you can build the same where you want.
Like 6000, ei Renze almost here in Catalonia, there was a full powershift option for the 6910, they was the first 6910 who reached the 140CV the others had 135. The trans must come from USA and ensambled in Manheim, i suppose.
In the other hand if you have one factory doint 6920-7520 quite well why another must do the same? Transport cost? American prestige? Factory competence? Euro>dolar?
a 7020 like 8020 sounds good.

hey woodbeef, i just wondering if the cost of production would go up, give some of the european economies are stronger in relation to the USA......
although i like you theory, i would like to think the 7020 series we see here is US built, i always liked the US built 100-120hp jd over the european, cause i thought they were longer....i would rather see JD built a factory in canada, or use an existing one, up there.
i like the JD 72-7400 and 10 series, never cared for the european ones we got in NZ, but that was personal preference the jd 7200 would make a sweet loader tractor for my father, rather than a wee 6400
