Hey, i have a Munckhoff fruit harvester with a 13HP Honda gas engine. Dealer converted it to run with propane or butane. What kind of oil i have to use in this engine? Now i use a 15W40 grade oil. Don't know if have to use another kind of oil with the propane. How many hours between oil changes? Now 150 hours more or less.
Thanks.

Hey F6L913,
How's it going?
All of the engines that I know of around here that are running on propane are using either 10w30 or 15w40. Might want to change at around 100 hours though. could'nt hurt to run it by your dealer to make sure though.

Hi F6L913,
How things in Catalunya?
Like Woodbeef said most of these types of engines use 10W30. Propane is a very clean burning fuel. The oil always looks fresh. I would follow the mfg. recomendation on oil changes. Not to costly since they have a small resevoir.
