Did the DB 1210 mfd tractors ever come from the factory with an axle other than the bevel drive Krammer MkI?
I've found one with outboard planetaries and open steering knuckles with u-joints. I think I remember once seeing a 995 mfd with this type of axle,but never a 1210.

hey wood beef i do believe one was in a classic tractor magazine....in an auction section...... not too long ago......actually it might be a 1412 i have a friend with a krammar axle under his 1210, he loved it, but the front axle is tired and needs TLC, who would you go to for parts? might want to ask the guy who likes case machinery.....howard sherren, he writes for classic tractor too....he might know laters pudding ps. raining up your way? send it our way......dont' be greedy

Hello Woodbeef from David Brown were installed in Germany two different types of all-wheel - axes. 1970 was installed the Kramer- all-wheel - axis. The quality of the axis was satisfactory. She was built as portalachse and too highly. There were problems with the German goverment. Therefore after some time was installed a Selene - axis. She looked more solidly.

It was still a Krammer,but a series 2. pudding,try getting ahold of Elmer over on the Case/David Brown board at www.ytmag.com He might just have all the parts you need.
