PING G15 drivers- a golf club I've never got to grips with.
In the same way you hear a non-drinker saying they were put off for life after having a swig of their dad's whisky when they were three, I can recall trying to hit a driver.
A seed was planted and ever since I've shied way from the big fella', preferring to hit a 3-wood. I think I once got a bit daring by using a 2-wood in my teens but the driver remained a no-no.
I've had the chance to try out several drivers but the demons remained and trips to the range were basically a case of acting out a self-fulfilling prophecy. I knew in my mind I wouldn't be able to hit driver and lo and behold I didn't.
And then the PING G15 driver
landed on my lap.
