It still has the front axle with 5 bolt wheels, like the 9000 and CS. Does the TM use this frontaxle??
I dont think it is a TM clone, but the model number S 120 is new to me.

Whew......I hope they all stay Steyr!!
It sure looks like a Steyr to me and not a shared platform tractor. Nothing has been said about Steyr using the NH platforms.

You are right on one point Woodbeef, there has not been any mention of a shared platform with NH. Nothing about a S model on the Steyr site.

Hey Kenjar,
I'd say it is the new designation of the S-Tronic(CVT) 120 hp tractor.
Did you notice that all of the old models are now called "Classic"

Do some digging, Woodbeef. Hey, by the way Steyr is celebrating 55 years of tractor building.

I heard that CNH use Steyr to test new technologies. When it's tested and it's OK they gone use it for NH and Case.

Naw the "SuperSix" is what they are calling the Sisu Engine that is in the S-Tronics. It along with the 3 and 4 cyls were co-developed by Valmet and Steyr, prior to the Austrian Bank forcing Steyr to deal with Deutz.
As for the exhaust pipe could be Case. Steyr has been using it for awhile now.

Woodbeef:
What deal with Deutz??
Are they now using Deutz engines?? Or do you mean the MWM engines, because MWM is owned by Deutz??
I think i have read you write somewhere, that the Sisu engines is a collaboration between Sisu and Steyr, from the eighties. Is that what you mean?? I cannot remember any Steyr with Sisu engine except for the Beauvais built 8000 series.

While we are talking about Steyr, what does anyone know about the model 9320? 320hp with a hydro tranny,180 degree reverse drive and multi-function lever control. Sounds impressive!

Kenjar:
Yes, i have heard of a 280 hp toolcarrier. i suppose it is like the 320 hp you talk about. That machine is mainly used to drive giant treestub fraises, forage harvesters and other PTO jobs.
But they have low, wide tires, and i think they are not very suitable for pull tillage combined with the hydro tranny. But anyway, they werent designed for tillage, so why do i even mention it??

Hey Renze, Steyr and Valmet collaborated on designing a range of engines to be used by both companies in 1986.Later,Steyr was forced to go with Deutz(MWM) by Kreditanstalt Bank, a major stockholder of Steyr and KHD. Valmet finished the engine project alone. Eventually Valmet became Steyr's engine supplier, as they are today.

Hey Kenjar, The Steyr 9320a Power Trac was an impressive machine. When Case bought out Steyr they dropped it. Doppstadt now makes it as their Grizzly. www.doppstadt.com

Renze, The Steyr toolcarrier you speak of, is it the model 8300?
Woodbeef, The Grizzly DT32 does resemble the 9320. I wonder if the 32 means 320 hp.
Hey Woodbeef, you get the Eicher info?
