Today I visit Valtra site in the net. I look at the S specs. and...
...could the S tranny be the same as in the Agrotron 230-260 ?
Both have 40-40R with 4 stept powershift and turbo clutch.
Just curious.

Hey Sebas,
Basically yes, they are both ZF boxes. But one of the reasons the S took so long is that Valtra tore the tranny down and had it rebuilt to their specs, tolerances and quality

....You mean they picked the Fendt 800 series tranny instead of the Deutz??

Renze, Not sure that the 800 Fendt and the S and Agrotron share the same trans. The Fendt has a 44/44 and the other two feature a 40/40. The Agrotron 230-260/Same Diamond have ZF model T 7300 transmissions. All have different but similiar types of hydraulic/turbo clutches. TEXTTEXTTEXTTEXTTEXTTEXT
