Renze,
as far as my knowledge reaches these tractors are built in Poland by a company called CAS. The technical data on the Schaeff-Bud site are not completely up to date I think. When you look at the pic of the 160 you can clearly see the Kolner Dom sign on the front grille so that should mean it has a Deutz engine. The technical data also mention an older type of cab. It has a ZTS/Ursus driveline. The 230 and 260 are based on the Deutz Agrotron 230 and 260 undercarriage although I'm not completely sure that they offer the front axle suspension and fluid clutch. I would love to see them come to the Dutch tractor market as a cheap, basic and reliable alternative. Especially the Deutz engine should give it opportunity to open up markets because they are very reliable.(now I'm talking from my own experiences with our D4506, always starting quite well, almost no repairs at 9800 hours without giving it time to get warmed up). I would even prefer these tractors over Deutz AgroPlus and AgroSun tractors with their Same ancestry. As far as I've heard the gearboxes of Ursus/ZTS are very reliable and built to cope with a lot more power. The cab looks quite comfortable. Renze, have you heard anything about the Landreus tractors built in Poland and based on the NH 56 series? I have seen one at the Dutch importer but have they started importing them yet?
Greetings from Friesland, New Hollander

Landreus had problems to get the homologation, i think. They showed one model, and one week later, in magazine Boerderij, they wrote they had stopped the import, because they had to adapt them to the Dutch market first. I think those supposed-to-be Landreus tractors also have the FMR Kunow cab, like the new Ursus range, and the Crystal. I think it's quite sick to sticker a green tractor as Crystal. That dishonours the Zetor Crystal 8011 - 16045, which carried it as a trade name since 1968. The model 180 must have the ZTS UR4 7.3 litre engine. The ZTS drivelines are better than the Ursus ones, Ursus tends to save money on steel quality. (the license built Ursus/MF 35-90 hp tractors are total crap, i have heard, since Ursus doesn't use the right steel. For the copied ZTS transmissions, this is not such a big problem, because the Zetor Crystal design was very heavy built, but with the small MF 200 series, it seems to give problems. By the way: Why dont you just buy a ZTS? They have a cab of comparable style and luxury. www.schaeff-bud.pl/zts16245.htmwww.zts-tees.sk/URII-eng.html

Hey guys, Mention Crystal, and I think of the red URII. It appears they come in various colors. www.farmphoto.com/homestead/message.asp?dsply=all&mid=7709I have seen afew pics of the Ursus in this color before, I thought all Ursus were red. Whats the deal? On the Schaeff-Bud site they also showed a blue tractor, resembled a Landini. This is the first time I have heard of CAS. You mention a Landreus, another first as well. Any photos available? I thought tractor brands were declining and two new names appear.

Kenjar:
Landreus, and CAS/Crystal does similar business as Long did. Landreus is an importer, they buy polish tractors and rebadge them as Landreus for Dutch market. CAS buys Ursus, ZTS and ZF/Deutz platforms, combines them with their own steel sheets and cab, and sells them under their own channels and badge.
The picture on Farm Photo: For a long time, Ursus painted their copied Zetor Crystal URII tractors yellow, where the originals had Zetor red. First for western markets, but later completely, they switched to red.
When we just bought our Ursus C-385A, the copy of Zetor 8045, it also had the yellow. We repainted it, the ugly yellow became red, the light gray became black, like later Ursus and Zetor models.
The blue Landini lookalike picture is fake. The front axle is much too wide. The front wheels are copied and pasted to achieve a dual wheeled picture. (you can see the front hub, in real, you wouldn't see it from this angle. to cover the paste lines, the picture is made a little more cloudy/fuzzy)
Renze
By the way: Who would have made this??http://www.farmphoto.com/homestead/message.asp?dsply=all&mid=7738

Renze, The picture of the blue tractor did look a little fuzzy. The CAS models have a Deutz/Landini look.
Ah yes the green Zetors. I think someone is trying to annoy the Deere folks.
After Deutz left the US market in the early 90's, a company called TAS marketed a Deutz look a like. They had Deutz engines and if I am correct Carraro transmissions. They ressembled the Deutz-Allis 6200 series(DX3) and had the same model numbers. A company called MeMo sold them here in the states.

Possibly those Memo tractors were built in the former Yugoslavia, Kenjar.
