I have read some of you mentioning the Laverda combines being rebadged and sold through McCormick dealers in the UK. Neither the McCormick nor the Landini (although it's in Italian-maybe it's there and I don't see it?) sites have any info on these machines. Do any of you have any other info or pictures of them? I wonder if they might bring them- with Perkins engines- over to North America?

Joein,
They might not be laverda, its just that I saw one at a mccormick launch and it looked distinctively like my uncle laverda machine.
I only looked at it for couple of mins - so i may well have been wrong.

Yeah, of course, they are Laverda combines under Mc Cormick colours. Just a better way of selling these Italian machines in the UK. Not sure about whether they are going to be sold in other countries. I saw one picture some months ago in a Profi International issue

Hi Joe, Here is another Laverda link. www.laverdaworld.com/Be interesting to see if they will be sold in the states. I think the new models will be Perkins(Cat) powered. There was a photo on this site a few months back, check the archives, it may still be there.
