When I intended to replace my Cheapest Golf Clubs For Sale the Titleist AP1 712 Irons came out of the fitting, and I am pleased with the results on the course. They are excellent set of irons with good feel and feedback and are designed for low handicappers.
I have felt that the AP1 models were quite forgiving enough for my standard of play. They are an excellent set of irons with good feel and feedback. I got fitted to the AP1 712 Irons instead of the cheap mizuno MX 300 irons I tried. With the AP1's my confidence has gone way up with all the irons but especially the 4 and 5 iron. Ball flight with 4-7 iron is excellent. I am consistently hitting center with these and am hitting good distances with a high draw. Have seen my average distance increase with all the clubs compared to my old clubs.
They are easy to hit out of light to medium rough and easier to draw then fade. If I try to fade it usually fades a little or goes straight. I think I would feel comfortable playing these clubs with 9-10 USGA HC and with my playing style they probably have a better chance of getting and keeping me there then the titleist ap2 712 irons for sale. Ball really feels good coming off the face of the club, similar to forge feel. I love the feel and the very high tragetory of the ball. The ball explodes off the face with high ball speed and a penetrating ball flight.
They have a great solid sound and a good penetrating flight with long irons and a mid high trajectory with the short irons. I am consistently hitting center with these and am hitting good distances with a high draw. They give a great height with the shaft and pick up the ball quick clean. They help me keep the ball down with wiser performance. I didn't know if these would have as good of a feel but they are better. The long irons are very easy to hit. A high ball flight for all irons and they are quite long.
The overall goal was to better apply the different materials used in the design. The new design of the AP1 712 irons is a big improvement over the 710. It is a multi-material, dual cavity iron that provides modern ball flight and forgiveness with the traditional look, feel, and sound that serious golfers have come to expect from a Titleist iron. Titleist has significantly increased the club's moment of inertia (MOI) by re-positioning tungsten weight within the heads.
