Lely Prototype Tractors

Finaly some pictures from the Lely protoype tratcors around the 70's.
they produced them to try their own CVT (1970!!!) in the fiel at night!
Lely was (and still is) a very highttech firm: a large engineering/develolmentdepartment with thousends of patents. They stil receive money for all their developments.

Was that really a CVT or just a hydrostatic on that early Lely. Interesting tractors on the site, wish I understood the language though.
How about the Lely Multipower 420 hp twin-engine tractors? I think they were buildt in Texas in the 1970-s.
