Finaly some pictures from the Lely protoype tratcors around the 70's. they produced them to try their own CVT (1970!!!) in the fiel at night! Lely was (and still is) a very highttech firm: a large engineering/develolmentdepartment with thousends of patents. They stil receive money for all their developments. ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/agritoy_lcn/jaarverg2002.htm

Was that really a CVT or just a hydrostatic on that early Lely. Interesting tractors on the site, wish I understood the language though. How about the Lely Multipower 420 hp twin-engine tractors? I think they were buildt in Texas in the 1970-s.
