Front mounted ploughs has showed up again. I find that very interesting. I´ve tried it myself but won´t tell you what I think about it until I´ve got some reactions from some of you to my question : What do you all think of it? Anyone got any expierience?
Then the personal greeting:
Hey Laapa! Promised to say Hello to you from Kosso & Gökåff!

Hey HPP. So you know Kosso and Gökåff, great! Might you even be an honorable "Urfarbror " yourself?
As far as front mounted plows, they seem to be working well when plowing in circels!

Not used widely in the UK although I know of a guy who had 3 up front and 5 behind on a 140 hp fendt tractor. he said that if all furrows were behind the tractor would not pull it but when they put 3 on the front it pulled it well.
he said it was due to the even balance and extra weight on the front axle gaining extra traction
although the bad news is that it takes extra driver ability and is dangerous on the road.

Hey Laapa: I´m Tjuvskjuut, -78.
Hey Leemsutton: Never had any trouble myself and I assure you, I´m no pro as a driver. But still - you do have them in the UK? In Sweden I think there may be 2 or 3 units but they´re from the early-mid -80:s so they might be retired by now. Can´t see why though. Still think it works perfectly.
