Yes,I saw that also.
I guess I'm just a dumb midwestern farm boy,but I've been trying to figure out the price variences from country to country on Deere tractors. For the life of me,I just can not make any sense out of it!! Oh well maybe I should just blindly follow, like all good Deeroid sheep, and not ask questions,eh?

tell you what mate the more i find out about deere the less impressed i get. i reckon they come to your farm, take a look around and then think what you can afford! they quote individual prices to everybody.
actually i dont think i've told you this one. you know we were quoted £90,000 for the 8520 T which was basic spec. i know of somebody that bought a 9420 wheeled for £90,000 - full spec. Well thats an extra 125hp with all the bit and bobs for the same money. I'll tell you what it was - the buyer is a 5000 acres farmer running claas stuff. deere want to get in so they put a low quote in. then i come front them about it and they say they dont know anything about it!
bloody idiots and it really annoys me. majority of our income here comes from other things. the farm is ticking over and we dont buy any kit unless it can pay for itself. the prices deere quotes for anything are well out of our price range!
they dont listen to what were saying at all and take the hump when we dont buy!
they have got no people skills what so ever.
I feel better now for getting that off my chest
