Deere logging,and industrial sales in Europe?

I've never heard anything about Deere selling logging or industrial equipment in Europe. Do they? If so how big is their respective market share?

I know that they bought Timberjack to break into the cut-to-length sector,but was  it also to break into new markets in Europe? Was Deere logging equipment available prior to the TJ purchase?

Timber Jack were available in the uk before JD bought them but not sure what the case is if you are interested try looking at forestmachinejouranl.com it is based on big logging kit and people in the industry.

As for construction Deere has not yet gone into this market but if they did then surely they would have to build a manufacturing plant over here rather than exporting from the states. But in saying all this i have seen a JD rubber wheel digger in Ireland a number of years ago
