We borrowed a plough off our local contractor and think its great but the points and slats are a bit worn. Does anyone know of somewhere to buy parts in England, Eire or Northern Ireland. I hear the parts are dear. Do they have a website?

Kongskilde import the Overum range of ploughs to the UK and may be worth contacting. Or your local dealer or some of the Sparex companies I know Spaldings do a range of parts.

Konskilde bought Överum a few years back.
We use lots of their stuff. Plow, seeder and fertlizerapplicator. All of them are due to be replaced soon. For plow we'll definately go with Överrum again (5 furrow reversible, might trade for 6-f-r). Here Överrum or Kverneland are pretty much the only alternative. Appart from Överrum being domestic (made right here in Sweden, owned by danish Konskilde though) we prefer their hydrailc rock-release mechanism to Kvernelands system.
For seeder I would not bet on us sticking with them. Väderstad Rapid looks like a strong contender. I would like to go with a disc-seeder, Överrum introduced a disc version of their Demeter Combi-jet last year but it has not proven itself yet. JD's seeders look nice too. Their fertilizer applicators look pretty impressive. All boom type, up to 24m but I feel boom type-applicators are just too expensive compared to centrifugal type to be justified for us.
I visited their factory last year. They struck me as a VERY conservative company. I got the feeling they shut down their R&D-department years ago beacuse they decided they had perfected molboard-plowing. A very dangerus thought.
Well this turned into a pretty lenghty post with not too much to do with the original question. I'm sure it is laden with spelling-and grammatical errors but I am Swedish, and I have been seeding all day. Cut me some slack.

I thought I heard something a few years ago about some sort of an allignment between Kverneland and Kongskilde / Overum. Is there any truth to this?
