"There will be a 300 PTO HP tractor introduced in August by John Deere called the 8620.A 500 hp 9620/9620T will be introduced at the same time"

Don tknow whether any of the above is true. Do you guys know about it?

Horsepower Wars! I saw the same post. Might be true. Since there will be a 500 hp Cat MT865, Deere will try to keep pace.  A 300 hp 2wd would be rather large, maybe they want to stay way ahead of the rest.

Such rumors appear once in a while (the Internet is such an efficient way of spreading them).

If anyone has a copy of JD the Furrow magazine if you look at the advertisement for the 9000 series there is mention of a 9620 so i suppose this is new.
